Sian and Jordan got married at Crockwell farm, which is a family-run wedding venue in Northamptonshire, set in idyllic rural surroundings near the Oxfordshire and Warwickshire borders.

It was a December wedding, and it was actually snowing that weekend. On the wedding day it was really sunny, fresh and crisp. On top of that we were spoilt with a gorgeous sunset!

The venue was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and it felt wonderfully festive and magical.

The Ceremony

The ceremony was a beautiful service in a cosy 17th century vaulted barn. During the ceremony Sian’s brother did a lovely reading. It was so personal, and you could just feel how much love there was in the room.

From a Photographer’s point of view, this venue is perfect as it’s so easy to photograph here. The light in the barn and in the reception room is beautiful. Everything has been thought of, so the day runs smoothly, and the incredible staff are there to ensure that you have a perfect day, always with a smile on their face.

The couple

Sian wore a classic white dress, and Jordan wore a three-piece suit and they looked really gorgeous.

The make up artist created a beautiful, fresh and dewy look for Sian, with warm, neutral and pinky tones.

The couple got in touch with me last year, and I still remember their enquiry. They said they wanted a relaxed photographer, who would capture the in-between moments and tell the story of their day.
