Intimate Romantic September Wedding at Langshott manor, Surrey
If you’re planning your Big Day at Langshott manor in Surrey, you’ll enjoy reading about this wedding!
Lucy and Sam got married at Langshott manor, which is a beautiful Tudor country house hotel. It really does feel like stepping back in time when you’re there.
Lucy and Sam wanted to have an intimate celebration with their closest family and friends. I absolutely love smaller weddings like this, they always feel so personal and relaxed.
Lucy has a degree in Art, so she hand crafted the couple’s vow books, table place cards and cake decorations amongst other things. She has such an amazing taste, and it always feels extra special to be booked by a fellow creative.
Morning Preparations
The venue’s bridal prep deserves a separate mention. It’s one of the most beautiful prep spaces I have seen. With its dark Tudor style furniture, the rooms is filled with the most gorgeous light – perfect for portraits. It’s nice and spacious too. Lucy was getting ready with her mum and her sisters, and it was such a beautiful and relaxed morning.
The Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony was a beautiful service outside. The weather was glorious, and the warm September sun was shining all day. Lucy’s mum walked her down the aisle, while Sam was waiting at the top with his best woman – his lovely sister. The couple had prepared their own vows, and it always makes the ceremony so much more personal and brings on so many tears from everyone!
The Wedding Reception
After the ceremony, the guests were enjoying drinks and canapes, while I was photographing the couple with their families and friends.
The wedding breakfast room was beautifully set up. I was treated to a 3 course menu, which was so delicious, although I did struggle to get up afterwards!
After their wedding breakfast the couple cut the cake, and had their first dance. They had the best selection of music for the party, and the floor was busy with dancing feet.
Couple Portrait Photos
Lucy wore a stunning A line dress with flutter sleeves. She also had a second dress that she changed into just before the couple’s first dance. Sam wore a classic light-coloured suit, and they looked really gorgeous together.
Lucy and Sam got in touch with me a year before their wedding, saying that they loved my natural and timeless photography style, which fit the vision for their wedding day perfectly.
Review
Lucy and Sam got in touch with me about a year before their wedding, saying that they were looking for a photographer with both candid and timeless style.
Here is what the couple said afterwards:
“Yana was an absolute treat to have on our wedding day. She made sure to check in on the roll up to the big day to ensure she caught every detail down we wanted. On the day itself she was kind, professional and patient with co-ordinating all the family members, group shots and hounding down individuals we wanted photos with. The work itself speak volumes, every picture she shared with us on the portal was gorgeous, we had to stop ourselves from ordering prints of every single one! We’d recommend Yana’s photography in a heartbeat for anyone looking for a mix of both candid and beautiful posed wedding photos!
Thank you so much Yana!”
